About This Training Course
Our Training Course is designed to bring an understanding of how to identify and meet the needs of Black Children and Young People who are Bi Racially placed Transracially placed and Cross Culturally placed.
Our Training Course is also designed to bring an understanding of how to remain relevant and up to date to meet the needs of Black Children and Young People who are Culturally Matched.
The Foundational Principles and Skills learnt on our Training Course, can be transferred into learning how to raise children and young people from other ethnic groups.

The Training Course is designed to:
Provide you with insight into the History of The Black Care Experience
Through scenario based learning, provide you with guidance on how to support the Black Child or Young Person in your Care
With the contents of the My Culture Care Box™ we’ll equip you with practical skills on how to identify and meet the needs of the Black Child or Young Person in your Care, affirm their ability to achieve their aspirations and strengthen their connection to their Culture, Identity and Heritage they can be proud of, as they journey through the Care System to transition into adulthood
Take you on a journey to see and understand that Cultural Competence is not a training course, it’s a lifestyle
Through live learning, provide you with tailored made solutions on how to raise and care for the Black Child or Young Person in your Care
Continuous Professional Development
For attending this Training Course, you will be awarded a Certificate to evidence your commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
Where will the Training Course take place?
This Training Course will take place on ZOOM.
The Training Course will involve the use of Break Out Rooms for Group interaction and Group exercises. With that in mind, we recommend that you have a workable laptop, with a workable microphone and workable camera to engage with the other Delegates that will be in your group.
General Booking Information
As soon as you have booked your place on this Training Course we’ll be sure to share the ZOOM link with you ahead of the event.
We only accept online payments. If you do not have access to your Organisation’s Card, we suggest that you use your Personal Card to book this Training Course and claim it back in your expenses with your Organisation. Requesting an invoice to pay for our Training Course will not be possible.
We have a total of 20 places available for this Training Course.
We can only accommodate a maximum of three Delegates from one Organisation. To commission and book training for a large group, please contact us here.
